Valvevolution is not only a line of innovative ball valves  for all the most common applications, but it is also the context in which Plastica Alfa Research & Development Dpt gave life to a completely new valve able to withstand the most extreme climatic conditions. The ICE valve is characterised for the good performance in the most severe temperature range, such as the freezing of the fluids inside with consequent increase of volume, for the total resistance when submitted to freezing  and defrosting cycles. The ICE valve is conceived as one piece body made of  a special compound that guarantees duration and versatility under conditions that would damage other plastic valves: it is regularly tested and guaranteed for temperatures reaching  -30°C  (-22 °F).
It is possible to join the valve both with metal and low temperature resistant pipes (HDPE, PVC, etc), granting a good thermal insulation thanks to the insulating properties of plastics.
